How Redburn Builders Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal data.
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Redburn Builders Ltd ("Redburn Builders", "we", "us" or "our"), a family-run building company based in London and serving the surrounding areas. Redburn Builders Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 17389288, with its registered office at 58 Sandown Way, Northolt, UB5 4HZ. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
You can contact us about anything in this policy by emailing info@redburnbuildersltd.com or calling 07377 723 406.
2. The personal data we collect
We collect personal data that you give us directly, for example when you:
- Submit an enquiry through our contact form;
- Email, call or message us (including via WhatsApp) about a project;
- Upload photographs of your property or project as part of an enquiry.
Depending on how you contact us, this may include:
- Your name, email address and phone number;
- Details about your project, such as the type of work, approximate budget and timeframe;
- Any photographs or other files you choose to send us;
- Any other information you include in your message to us.
We also automatically collect limited technical data when you visit our website, such as your browser type and general usage information, as set out in our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote, on the basis that doing so is necessary to take steps, at your request, towards a contract with you;
- To deliver building work you have instructed us to carry out, on the basis that it is necessary to perform that contract;
- To keep records for accounting, insurance and legal purposes, on the basis that it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations;
- To improve our website and services, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, balanced against your rights;
- To understand how our website is used, using Google Analytics — but only where you have consented to analytics cookies via our cookie banner (see our Cookie Policy); and
- Where you have given us consent, such as for optional marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted third parties who process it on our behalf, including:
- J&T Promotions, the agency that builds and manages this website for us. They receive a copy of website enquiries so that none are missed, and they act only on our instructions;
- Our website hosting and form-processing providers, who store and transmit enquiry data securely on our behalf. Specifically: our website is hosted by Lovable (behind Cloudflare); enquiry details and any photos you upload are stored by Supabase; our enquiry emails are delivered via Lovable's email service (using Mailgun, processed in the EU); and, with your consent, Google Analytics processes aggregated website-usage data. Our contact page also embeds a Google Map, which is served by Google;
- Subcontractors or suppliers, where necessary to price or deliver a project you have asked us about, and only with information relevant to that purpose;
- Professional advisers (such as our accountant or insurer), where necessary for our legitimate business or legal purposes; and
- Regulators or authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
Any third party who processes personal data on our behalf is required to keep it secure and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, if your enquiry does not proceed, for a limited further period in case you get back in touch. Photos uploaded with an enquiry are stored securely and are only accessible to us via time-limited links that expire 30 days after the enquiry; you can ask us to delete your photos at any time using the contact details in section 1. For customers we carry out work for, we retain project and financial records for as long as required by our legal, accounting and insurance obligations, which is typically up to six years after a project completes.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Ask us to delete your data, in certain circumstances;
- Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data, in certain circumstances;
- Ask us to provide your data to you, or another organisation, in a portable format; and
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent to process your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
7. Keeping your data secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. While we do our best to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults instructing building work and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change how we handle your data or to reflect changes in the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
10. Contact us
